Format:

US Nationals Qualifiers are open to ALL Magic players.

This event is limited to 275 players due to space.

The format forUS Nationals Qualifiers tournaments is Standard format.

Please arrive early enough to complete a deck list. You can download a Gray Matter decklist click HERE and bring it to the show. 


 

Please double-check your decklist before you hand it in at the show.

Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no  maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards.

With the exception of basic land cards, a player’s combined deck and   sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic.

The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:

Zendikar
Worldwake
Rise of the Eldrazi
Magic 2011
Scars of Mirrodin
Mirrodin Besieged

There are currently no banned cards in Standard tournaments.

Please double-check your decklist before you hand it in at the show.

Cost:

$30. You are encouraged to pre-register for this event. There is a limit of 275 players for this event.

Prizes:

The top eight (8) players will each win
An invitation to the U.S. National Championship
1 box of Mirrodin Besieged

9th - 16th place
1/2 box of Mirrodin Besieged

Additional prizes may be given depending upon attendance

Notes:

Dealers will be on site to buy and sell cards

Players are strongly recommended to bring a pen, paper, and counters.

All players are allowed to trade cards at any Gray Matter event. However, anyone attending the event who buys cards from or sells cards to other players will be asked to leave the event immediately
