Open Dueling at PA Shadowmoor Pre-Release

Open Dueling

Wizards has announced a new non-sanctioned format at the Shadowmoor Pre-release made specifically for new players. It's called Open Dueling.

The Open Dueling area at a prerelease is an area for new players to come and play with the new set in a comfortable format. This is non-sanctioned play. Here is how this area will work:

Entry fee of only $15.00

Time for Open Dueling: 9am - 3pm

Players who enter into Open Dueling are given a Shadowmoor theme deck at random and an Open Dueling card.

Players will then go to the Open Dueling area and play 5 games/matches against other players.

Once the Open Dueling card is filled with 5 names of his/her opponents you will turn in the Open Dueling card for a booster pack of Shadowmoor and a Shadowmoor prerelease card.

Players may only sign up for Open Dueling once during the weekend.
